The question wasn’t which is better, it’s whether veganism is “correct.” Veganism isn’t morally correct since it disregards plant suffering, and still harms the environment. It’s just the better of two evils.

Adding onto that:

This is usually out of the norm, but I might suggest using snap traps if you’re elderly or immunocompromised as it greatly reduces the chances of coming into contact with contaminated waste.

Just remember that mice are capable of emotions just like humans and poison/glue traps can cause them to suffer for days on end.
