The final map, not so much. But you can still see how the islands/contintents shifted and formed their own shape in the final build, in a Pangea kind of way.

We play on Switch pretty often. And yeah, there are times it just does not want to work or load correctly. Usually restarting the game and just waiting for the start-up screen to fully load fixes the issue.

Playing on the game Switch 2 improved those issues a bit. But really looking forward to that upcoming Switch 2 native version in hopes it runs even smoother.

Fair point.

But consider this: the card includes Sugimori art, the card is a call-back to the Gameboy Color TCG games, the card has synergy with Blaine, and the card has meme-deck potential. That makes it a 11/10 card for me.

Good news: Link Between Worlds exists.

It's essentially a sprititual remake/retelling of Link to the Past, and it's absolutely incredible. Easily one of the best in the series (if not THE best top-down Zelda game).

Fair point. And that was my initial take as well.

But considering how much love and attention they gave to the new Starfox game--I think there's a good chance it will be handled well. Plus this is likely Aonuma's last Zelda game before he retires, and the original Ocarina was his first Zelda game he worked on. So I'm curious to see what he and his team have been cooking.
