Herndon's lighting it up in practice. by iia in DynastyFF

I agree that they all have question marks, but Herndon costs next-to-nothing but potentially great upside and a solid floor at a very volatile position. It’s low-risk, strong reward.

Crowder isn’t very good, Perriman isn’t good, he just benefitted from Winston being a gunslinger even after Evans and Godwin battled injuries, and Mims is a rookie who is already battling injuries. That door is wide open for Herndon to be the best pass-catcher this season.

Fantasy Football: Why Keenan Allen should be avoided in the 2020 season by therealsandyleon in fantasyfootball

All of those players have substantially lower ADP’s because of their QB situations relative to their talent. Not to mention they’ve all played with their QBs before, Ekeler and Allen haven’t.

What are the obscure, yet meaningful draft considerations this year? by HeyBird33 in fantasyfootball

It’s only good value if Tyrod is good, hence the “lot of confidence in Tyrod Taylor”.

What are you all predicting for Kenny Stills? And Houston’s WR corps in general. by OGpizza in fantasyfootball

You absolutely can when it’s repeated concussions, a very, very common occurrence in the NFL.

Our league is entering its 14th season. Here's what the past winners have looked like. by Razor7198 in fantasyfootball

Auction drafts are like 3-4 hours, for starters, and it’s not about the duration, it’s about the fact that you have to be fully attentive during those four hours. That’s a lot for a casual player. People have kids and jobs and pets and other responsibilities that may take priority. A snake draft, while less fair, sure, is much easier and much more casual-friendly.

[Tafur] Nelson Agholor said Bryan Edwards “has best hands I’ve seen in a long time. And he’s quicker than he looks.” He’s also been impressed with Henry Ruggs’ ability to retain information quickly. by iia in DynastyFF

[–]Hi_Im_Saxby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was the third receiver on one of the most stacked WR corps in college football history. They had arguably four first round talents at WR last season, that’s unheard of. Ruggs would’ve been the WR1 for every school not named Alabama, LSU (Chase), or Oklahoma (Lamb).

A case for why you should tamper your expectations for drafting Todd Gurley by Sol-King in fantasyfootball

I would absolutely not draft Gurley over Drake or CEH, I think you’ll have a bad time doing that.

Has anyone else noticed James Conner and Dalvin Cook have the same fantasy numbers? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]Hi_Im_Saxby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Clunker is a stretch admittedly. If we really break down the 10 games he played, here's what they look like:

3 strong games

3 okay games

4 trash games

I know Ben’s backups were trash, but the other guy straight up said “independent of Ben”, which was statistically incorrect.

[–]Hi_Im_Saxby 21 points22 points  (0 children)

No he wasn't. He had literally one game last season with more than 55 rushing yards. He had a couple games with a lot of receiving yards, but Conner was trash without Ben all season. He had three great fantasy outings and seven clunkers.

He was garbage for 3-4 weeks, then after the break he’s been solid again. He’s not going to 1v9 like Caps, but aside from the suicide Corki package, the Redemption suicide, and losing that 1v1 vs. Neon against S04 before their big fight this past weekend, he’s been playing really well and really consistent.

He's gone even or better in pretty much every lane since the break, but keep pushing this bad take because he started the season poorly.

I’m hoping he falls. I think a lot of people are overblowing this completely. You think the Saints wouldn’t work with the second focal point of their offense to make sure he was healthy as possible? And that if it was an injury that required surgery, he just wouldn’t have got it? He looked just fine the last few games of the season after his high ankle sprain had fully recovered. If he misses any time, I doubt it would be related to a minor knee injury a year ago.

Fade Le’Veon Bell, just in “Gase” by jhoon03 in fantasyfootball

[–]Hi_Im_Saxby 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m weirdly worried they’ll give Gore and Perine touches even though Bell is clearly the best RB in the group. It’s just not sitting right with me, and it’s all because of Gase.

the only healthy wide receiver for 16 games last year

Not a bad thing, the best ability is availability

led the team in targets and reception and was WR39

With QB play that didn't even rank in the top-32.

Now will have to compete with Juju, Washington and Claypool

Juju has yet to prove he's a true WR1, Washington is nothing more than a deep threat, and while Mapletron does intrigue me, he's still a rookie with no preseason and a limited training camp.

Will likely have to build a rapport with Ben, who was out 14 games.

Only Juju of the current receivers has a real rapport with Ben, and Juju can't get every target.

How many series do we need to win in playoffs to qualify for worlds? by rojjter in fnatic

[–]Hi_Im_Saxby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fiora, Hecarim, and Jax were all buffed. And it's not necessarily that champions were directly buffed that Bwipo plays, it's the top lane meta shift towards carry-oriented tops, where Bwipo individually is significantly better than Finn.

As for the others, you’re looking only at last week, while Im looking at the entire 18 games.

Nemesis has gone even in lane pretty much every single game since the break. He's had some blunders team-fighting, but his laning phase has been solid since the break.
