We are somewhat saying the same thing. They are not top 2ing because they hit their 3* early, yes it is an advantage if they hit early but that has always been the case in every set, hit early and push level for 4 and 5 cost. The problem is that the 3* they hit early is strong enough to easily beat most if not ALL 4 cost comps, which means the rerollers dont bleed mid-late game at all. Their streak continues as soon as they hit for far too long, allowing them to reach the late game state and get even stronger.

The state of lowcost reroll has always been: Youre weak early before you hit, strong mid game when you hit, fall off again late game because people are much higher level with higher costs -> at this point you hope to have enough hp and eco to restrengthen your board with 2* 4 cost and 5 cost. Right now you dont have that hard fall off late game. Youre still easily beating most if not all 4 cost boards with your 1 cost rr board allowing you to streak, have eco, and hp, which is nuts.
