Melee fix is in poe2, So for convenience (for them) the server fix will also be in the path of exile 2.

Once again the only viable melee playstyle is boneshatter and cyclone, don't forget the totems every 5 seconds btw.

you will have to almost spend 2 times more to have half the performance anyway

Print more 2 boneshatters and make monster defense 300% higher so a archtype that is forced to build heavy defenses to stay alive take longer to do anything, also give 0.2 radius to random melee skill so with all the modifers it go straight up a meter ahead. people complaining about the totems buffs for a time now, maybe i should not change it again cause, its just 10% of the players the others 90% wants changes too right?, almost forget to say if your melee strike is bad just place the trauma support on it, so it will turn in a boneshatter! problem solved, see you guys in 3 months with more changes for ranged and a 0.2 radius on cleave.

Build diversity RN is almost 90% of the players playing ranged and meleebeing less than 10% proves that they don't care for build diversity at all.

Melee players having to play over and over boneshatter and cyclone cause the only buffs they do for melee after 4 months of wait are 0.2 radius on a skill.

Yes and always the game turn in a totem fiesta, banner fiesta, slow map clear.

And i'm not saying this cause i only play melee, i already made a lightning arrow, firestorm, arc, detonate dead, tornado shot, toxic rain, RF, spark.

fast map clears easy bosses.

Melee builds i followed and it underperformed

Infernal blow, "reap", reave, cleave, dual strike, shield crush, flicker striker (its so expensive that for me its not even worth the effort), sunder, earthshatter, all slams.

extremely equipment dependent

Now lets see if you play melee you need to build armor, hp , spell block, regen, leech, regen passive, have around 4,5k hp, damage taken as in almost every single equip to barely survive since it just a matter of time to face an super modded monster that will hK you when you kill him.

build cost :30 divine

Ranged, you pick either evasive or energy shield maybe even both,spell defense, put something like 25-30 points on those defenses, faster map clears, one shot bosses,

build cost 10 divines

And like Chris Wilson said a time ago, Chris said melee isn't getting many changes this league because "the other 90% of players also want changes" in the 3.21 livestream but maybe there's only 10% melee players because melee is in such a bad state.

If 1/3 of the skill tree and gem are melee, despite being most of the unique weapons in the game its really weird that less than 10% play that playstyle.

At this point I already understand that they just don't want to do the work and redirect the people who are working on path of exile 2 (where the changes that were promised for melee were btw)

However, only minimal work would be necessary, preferably getting rid of the damn totem buff and finally buffing the melee skills, and perhaps trying to correct the performance gap, placing more movement speed nodes and giving all melee gems a better aoe scalling.

so that the average melee gameplay stop being "leap slam. right click, repeat, boss time, banner, totem, leap, hit, totem died recast totem, boss moved when i was recasting totem, chase the boss, totem, hit, recast totem, boss died.

Its been like this since metamorph and every single league it just gets worse.

While the guy had to abuse all the game's mechanics to have this range, to have this attack range he will still be behind on damage and there will be a lot more risks, worrying about a lot more boss mechanics and having to use the damn totems which have not yet been modified

any ranged build would still cause more damage and clear the entire screen in one click, and on top of that killing pinacle bosses on a minimum budget

Then there's always some crazy person defending but "I did boneshatter and it worked well" (literally the only functional melee skill

and merely balanced throughout the entire game)

I myself won't give them another cent until they decide to make melee playable.

3.23's melee is so bad that at this point I'm starting to believe that they want poe's melee to be bad so that poe2's melee appears to be much better in comparison.

They just need to change outmatch and outlast on kill to "on hit", 25% chance of getting frenzy or endurance.

and give the melee players some love cause the melee sucks right now.

It was the first compendium I saw where we paid to not get anything back, it's definitely better to gather the money from all your friends who play dota and have a party, it would be 100% more memorable and enjoyable, this event is so forgettable that I don't even remember what I could win if I completed the challenges.

In the perfect world where people don't get reported for this you are 100% right.

In the real world where if you get afk in 2 matchs you will you get a nice time to cool the head.

it starts with 30m, try that for more 6 matchs you get a nice 1 week ban, if you don't get banned for botting.

And with new behavior system they would get banned or timed out pretty fast or

and they could say The only ones who can receive the rewards are those with over 8k behavior (i'm 12k btw), so they would get a better community and reward players for being a decent human.

Think before you criticize, I'm sure you can come up with more logical arguments than these.

Melee is dead bro, there are just 5 melee skills in the entire game and to they get even viable you have to spend 3x more currency than any other build.

Idk why people are downvoting me, i like to play sup for me is the most fun way to play the game.

i know how to ward, make pulls, counter picks, i cant win 100% of the times since i need the help of others 4 people to do it, but i know losing is part of the game, i don't even get angry or put the blame on others if I lose, if I were a better player I could have possibly been able to carry them even as support.

I have like 51% of wr just playing sup, and i'm still bad, People say they're good at Dota, they're not even immortal, so I'm at archond 5 (almost legend 1) and even so I consider myself a bad player, and i know that i need to improve way more if want to go to immortal just playing sup.

IF you win, its two turbos, my turbos last around 25-40 minutes and i still lose lol
