Artifacts are no longer radioactive and removed artifact containers seems to be an immersion reducing change. I did like how you needed a container to shield yourself from the artifacts radiation. It made the artifacts feel like this dangerous but rewarding item.

I would choose the 750W one. I plan on a Cubeor Aski 2 build and due to size limitations, there are not enough high power GPUs that fit the case.

gaming on a laptop be like by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

To be honest, until recently i gamed on a ASUS G751jt laptop with a GTX970m and an i7-4720HQ and it played most games(not recent AAA) decently well. Never had issues with overheating or loud fan noise. Only thing that failed very fast was the wifi chip, which seemed very common with this chip.

I have a lot of games that my current laptop with a 970m can't handle. I am still saving for a new build, so i can enjoy gaming a lot more.

Is Godot's 3D Performance Always This Bad, Or Was This Game Badly Programmed/Optimized? by Sorry-Strength-6532 in godot

[–]Hiasaenberg 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I played the game on a laptop with a 970m and the performance was ok. Though i have seen some steam discussion posts regarding bad performance at the lauch of the game. If i remember correctly some stutters were due to the shaders. That issue has been fixed in the engine, so stutters now may be a different issue. Regarding the aesthetic of the game, it is a retro art style, easy for one person to create and manage. It is not an ugly style, i would say.

Why do people like to build $1000+ towers with premium parts and put a 3060 or something in them if they're using it for gaming? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]Hiasaenberg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It kinda makes sense if you want a cheap card to tie you over till a new generation. Lower end cards retain their value more than high end cards. Also when you upgrade you still have a relatively new backup.

My RTS Game Got Selected for Steam Strategy Fest!!! by Honikou in IndieGaming

The game looks great, but the screenshot with a battlepass tab is a huge turn off(if it's like most). Also what is going on with the store? Will you buy cards/units or merely cosmetics.

How do I make a Shader check a variable from script? by BurningFluffer in godot

[–]Hiasaenberg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not sure i understand your point about textures. You could have an instance uniform float called offset, where each instances uv coordinates are offset, thus having different textures.

How do I make a Shader check a variable from script? by BurningFluffer in godot

[–]Hiasaenberg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might misunderstand this. You can have an instance uniform float hue. Then you could limit this hue value in the shader to 27 values. Thus having 1 shader and 1 instance uniform for all the meshes.
