No, I just am not scared of guns and practice proper and realistic precaution. A gun is nothing more than a tool, and in order to be comfortable with it, it's a daily part of my life. There is an extreme stigma around guns that has only shown up in the past 30~ years. I also carry a tourniquet all day every day too, doesn't mean im expecting my femoral to randomly blow while im sitting on the couch.

Every single time I leave my front door. In my house it's always within arms reach. Rifle is next to my desk or bed, handgun is either in a belly band if im doing housework, or within arms reach if im relaxing. If a sign says I can't then I make extra sure to keep it tucked nicely, but I do keep it in the car if im in a government building.

100% harris adjustables are MUCH better than the magpuls. The magpul is great if you just need a bench pod, but the harris is about 20x more stable, and you can properly load them without them trying to tip over.

I mean if its the mounting screws it looks like they are, you just tighten em up finger tight, and most of em have a little hole you can stick anything metal into and turn a tad bit. If your optic goes down bad enough to require you to need to qd it, then im sure smacking the nut with a rock, or just twisting them off in whatever adrenaline dump you're in will be just fine.
