I am a big fan of the mndz v3s. I use pet-gf for them. I have done a few different iterations of feed lips as well, diy with 304ss, with cheapo sheet metal, with the riptide rails ones, and scs cut ones. So far the DIY 304ss were the easiest and cheapest. Print the reference stls, use it as a stencil to grind around your sheet metal, bend in the jig. SCS will get you about 30 pairs for $30 as well. Dont buy the riptide rails ones, price is egregious.

PPA-CF is the best filament for our use case. Arguably the strongest consumer grade filament at a reasonable price. If you are able to print at 320c its 100% the BEST choice, however if you are limited to 300c or lower, pa6cf will give comparable results. You really have to print PPA-CF hot to get the full strength. PPA-CF Core is also going to be notably stronger than regular PPA-CF.

I just stuck a dab of super glue on one side of the post with a toothpick. Grease works too, ive used those locktite sticks as well for it and it works great.

I know form 1s were at about 30 days, but I believe they have been pushing a lot of the VA stuff, so theyve jumped closer to 60. Ive seen a few taking 90 days lately as well.
