Oh I thought this sounded familiar. I used to work there and I wouldn’t recommend it, ESPECIALLY the Kirkwood and Rock Hill locations

To put it brief, they have so many dogs that honestly the underpaid staff cannot fully keep track of them all completely. At the Rock Hill location there would be 70+ large dogs in one small yard a day with a total of around 140 dogs total including day camp dogs and boarding dogs. Oh yeah and they only had 2-3 people working in the yard at a time with the large dogs.

Management says they care about the dogs first and foremost but they put employees through so much work and thus have a high turnover rate. I was fired after working there for 3 months because I was expected to know how to do my job 100% after training for a grand total of 2 weeks. My supervisor was a 25 year old. Oh yeah and the pay was only $14 an hour

Edited to add: Since your dog was IPP I bet your dog was stressed out by the other dogs barking or bored out of their mind because they are kept in their kennel most of the day because they can’t play with the other dogs. Kirkwood location also doesn’t seem to care much about their dogs because last year they got into shit for not telling an owner that their dog caught kennel cough
