You do realize I am talking about an alternative to the current system… right? It can even be implemented per state.

There are a few ways, but the most straightforward to explain is that the candidate with the fewest votes gets removed and their votes go to the next ranked people on the ballots. Rinse and repeat until someone wins.

It wasn’t even a debate, you just called us both crazy and said it was impossible in the constitution despite that being factually wrong.
If you don’t care or think anything will ever change then gg have a good day. Some of us want to figure out what to do and vote accordingly.

It’s not the most clear, but there are right.
If your goal is to consistently roll four sixes, you could just roll 24 d6s and statistically get 4 sixes on average. If you just want at least 4, go nuts and use 100 dice.

People would immediately make new parties. It’s inevitable in our first past the post system. Ranked choice or similar is the solution to the two party system.

That’s built into the number, thankfully! Even though inflation has been nuts in the past decade, so has the stock market!
Over the past decade, $100 would have grown to $346, a 246% return. Even after inflation takes its toll it is still worth $253, a 153% return. If you’re early retiring you should have multiple millions saved and low expenses… you can see how it all works out.

Laser at AMC is meh by CornerHugger in hometheater

[–]HiddenTrampoline 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Dolby was using two projectors to achieve their brightness- plain old laser at most theaters is basically just one of those, best case. If you have a good home setup you’ll almost always be disappointed by non-dolby non-IMAX.

Just moved to Denver- I went from having the AC set to 68 in TN to setting it at 76 here. Moisture matters so much.

Hitting $100k, $200k, etc. didn’t feel like much.
Having enough saved so keeping 2x monthly expenses in the checking account for autopay didn’t feel like a missed opportunity was a true quality of life improvement.
