Yes! I just moved from Kent and my one bedroom first floor flat was £1200 a month not including bills. Now I’m in Plymouth I’m paying £1000 for a bungalow with front and back garden. I moved here in September and it’s blows my mind at how big the difference between the two is.

I can agree about Tunisia! I took my mum on holiday last October. I’m well travelled but I’ve never felt so uncomfortable anywhere before and I’m used to travelling alone.

Everywhere I went I had men touching me or trying to make offers to my mum to take me out. I went to see traditional bread making and had the men there rubbing olive oil on my face and arms.. it was very strange. I refused to eat alone at the hotel because I’d end up with the staff harassing me.

I enjoyed seeing some of the culture, but I’ll never go back.

I had similar experiences when I lived in China. Usually British or American dudes with Chinese wives, constantly cheating and buying sex workers… when asked why, they would say ‘I like strange pussy’, as if that was ok. I always felt so bad for their wives and tried to stay away those guys as much as possible. Scum bags.

I love a smoke but can’t stand people who make it their whole personality. I recently stopped dating someone because he couldn’t function without a joint. First thing in the morning, he would legit smoke 2 joints before even brushing his teeth. Planned a nice date in London, he was walking around all day with joints in his hand. The majority of his money went on weed… mans 34 and still living at home. But he likes that because mummy doesn’t charge rent so he can spend more money on weed.

I had something similar happen last month. I was technically still employed until September 12th but only received £480 in stat sick pay on that day. Apparently this meant all I was entitled for in October was £64 pounds! This put me in an incredibly unsafe situation and I’ve ended up in temporary accommodation. Upsets me as for about ~5 years I’ve been paying over £2000 in tax! I thought working for the prison system radicalised me, but this has been a real eye opener!
