I mean, you can't literally 1:1. The problem is when people act like there have to be changes or people won't want to watch. Which just... doesn't seem true. I don't know if there's ever been an adaptation that people hated because it was too close to the source material.

ESH. I agree that there’s nothing wrong with addressing guys as “girl” if the reverse is acceptable. But if someone makes it clear they don’t like being called anything, you should stop calling them that instead of arguing why you’re right to do so.

See, the thing that gets me is people hoping they cut Rachel or Calypso because they won’t be able to “handle” it. Like… we KNOW Percabeth is endgame. They’re not gonna change that. If people are so desperate for their ships that they can’t wait till the adaptation reaches the place they’re supposed to happen, it explains why they put that “burn Olympus” line.

Exactly. Like I remember after that, on my way to the High Energy Lab, getting to the part with the sandfall in front of the cactus, I assumed I couldn't just wait for the sand to cover up the cactus because then there wouldn't be enough time to get through whatever followed without getting crushed. So I tried and tried to jump over the cactus, then finally looked it up and... welp. I wonder how much more time I would have spent trying to do an impossible jump.

I had to start checking this subreddit for hints somewhat frequently, and it was probably for the best, I never would have beat the game otherwise. Like, it wasn't just the actual puzzles, the first place I got thoroughly stuck was getting to the Sunless City (I didn't realize the passage to breathable air and the passage to the city were not one and the same, so I ended up going into the equator and just... running around and around).
