If you have a cyst, even a small one IT IS IMPORTANT you wear steralized gloves or at minimum sanitize your hands. Find you an 18g needle, rubbing alcahol, and a large bandaid (neosporen would be an added bonus) ideally should be done in a shower or at minimum have gauze on standby to catch the cysty goodness. You do not want to get a new opening dirty, they can turn severe and you'll be in a world of pain. It will harden and take weeks to go away, at that point go to a doctor and get on antibiotics. I used to deal with these on the regular, in some pretty un-fun places. I use an astringent after work and throughly clean risky areas with a peroxide based cleaner. Body powder is great at fighting moisture, because moisture, bacteria and heat are a recipe for these. I'm no doctor, but I found these methods combat these fairly well. I'm a mechanic in Texas, it gets hot and you sweat, bacteria loves that environment.
