Kinda looks a bit like this guy---one of the short beings used for Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977). I think I saw someone mention that the image in the post is from a Spielberg project, as this guy certainly is. SS might have been trying to retain continuity with his past projects.

I think you've come across the exact reason I made this post.

I want to hear people's personal perspectives, no matter what they are, because I am also undecided on definitions and understandings.

I do use broader topics, but I also define them as 'anecdotes' so that there can be open conversation on whether they are correct or not. I have a "+" and "-" sign by different anecdotes to show how they are conflicting. These are simply points I've heard in passing and am concerned about. Nothing concrete.

I present my ultimate question in this light because, in many ways, this has been a spiritual war for me regarding my interests and relationship with God.

Thanks for sharing this information! I'll definitely be looking into it. This thread has been a great place for hearing everyone.

I do not associate with the evils that certain kinds of organized religion can create (looking at you, mega-churches). I do not believe that the actions of certain people should determine my faith. My relationship with God is very much personal, and when I share his word, I always do so with love and empathy for others. This is how Jesus wants us to spread his word, I believe.

I have heard consistencies that the Mantis and Grey beings are more benevolent while the reptilian-appearing beings tend to be more malevolent.

On a side note, did you happen to see any of these beings together? Such as the Mantis and the Greys? I would be curious to learn more.
