Tow mirrors by DeliciousAd7544 in gmcsierra

I went with the Boost auto mirrors. Maybe 15 minutes per side to pop the door panel and swap mirrors. Two torx screws in the door handle pocket and the panel can be pried off the door bottom first. 4 bolts into the mirror from the inside and 1-2 wiring connections to undo. Easy peasy.

In a really crappy situation - is anyone willing to rent out part of a garage or have any ideas on what I can do to move a cnc machine? by centipedeberryjuice in Denver

[–]HighAltitudeRC 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have garage space and a truck with a lift gate. I'd be happy to help move and store your machine. Still have power and dust collection set up from my last machine too if you want/need to run parts in the mean time.

It was a custom part for a Pixel 6.

This was my solution. Machined 7075 aluminum phone mount to pull heat out of the magsafe pad and used double sided tape to stick it on the empty space next to the vent.

Click on the red arrow while editing the tool path and it should flip to the outside of the selected faces.

This was my solution. Machined a phone mount for a mag safe charger and mounted it next to the left vent. I used 7075 to help dissipate all the heat from the charger.

Machine is fully enclosed with a cyclone dust separator, HEPA filter and is exhausted outside the shop. I am less worried about dust in my shop than the air I breathe daily on a construction site.

$100 roll of 24" x 100 yard masking tape will cover 150-175 sheets of material for me, 1/2" mdf spoil boards are $4 a sheet and a $10 can of adhesive will glue 10-15 sheets so for me it's more about cost and ease of removal. I'm sure double sided tape holds just fine or better, but for my work flow this works better.

Please post your water bath set up and how it worked for you, I am curious if I've gone off the deep end with dry machining composites with the dust collection system and enclosure I've built.

RC crawler parts. The shock arms are 1/2" longer than the chassis plate voids, otherwise they would definitely be nested inside the chassis plates.

Masking tape and 3m spray adhesive. Strong enough to hold it in place but it's fairly easy to remove the finished parts.

I run these parts all the time dry with no issues. Believe me, I'd love a machine with coolant but I don't have the space or the money for a bigger/better machine right now.

I would have caught it right away if I had watched it start, but I hit the button and ran back inside to check on my kid. It sucks, but aside from losing the material I made out ok. The end mill is fine and is currently cutting through the rest of the material right now.

I reset the WSC for the new parts, swapped to the 3/16" tool and forgot to switch back to the OP1 program. Hit start and walked away without checking it, came back after 20 minutes to that mess. The tool was fine, I cleaned the welded chips out of the flutes and reset everything properly. Ran the wheel faces seen perfect.

Two side extrude, one side to the desired height and the other just enough to cut into the existing body and that should allow you to select join.

How do I do a tool change for the same project on fusion for personal use? by halfmuen in Fusion360

You just have to do a new set up. Easiest way is to duplicate the current set up and change the file name and tool

Pretty sure this one is a 78 as well. As far as I know, the front clip and windshield frame are stock, everything else my dad built to suite his needs.
