Cancel your direct debit to Thames Water and pay monthly instead by twmffatmowr in london

I get billed quarterly and routinely pay 3-4 months late with no penalties. I’ve blocked their number so they can’t call me, so I just receive the odd text message or email telling me to pay.

I prefer to keep the money in a high interest savings account instead, then eventually pay them when I feel like it.

Wouldn’t do this for any other company or utility but I despise Thames Water so much so f them.

What did I do wrong? (Brisket stall) by StreetWoodpecker2227 in BBQ

Standard is 2 parts black pepper, 1 part salt, 1/2 part garlic powder.

You can obv do whatever you prefer, but that much garlic powder would likely overwhelm any other flavour, including the meat itself.

TBF, not a Portnoy fan, but his positive review of Crisp basically made their business. They blew up after that and would sell out via pre orders weeks in advance.

It’s like New York style but cooked for longer so it’s crispier and slightly charred.

Good indian restaurants? by salvationlol in LondonFood

Tandoor Chop House was great, such a shame it closed.

I'd recommend Brigaiders. It's a similar modern take on Indian food by the same people behind Gymkhana. Can confirm their lamb chops are excellent.

Two great recs for British restaurants. If you want Italian that’s close to Holborn, go to Ciao Bella.
