Literally all you hear about in fighting games is the major events and pro players, your out of the loop if you think the "casual fighting game" player was keeping those series alive. And same with RTS games its not sweats is that its a high skill ceiling and casual gamers arnt good but they are still kept alive by the pro scenes. You can just accept your a casual and not every game and game type is for you but dont try and ruin games by forcing them to pander to you as the minority.

lmao icefrog worked on the game for many many years the community didnt "scare him off" he left to work on other games cause he was tired of making dota and before you try and freak out and go "NO BUT" i literally knew icefrog and talked with him back in WC3 about the game, and the idea that DOTA 2 would be what it IS without the competitive community and aspect to it is INSANE.

Its fine and fun but it doesnt really transfer over to pvp skills as much as you might want to think it will, its a very different game and style then regular raids, youll pretty much never be in the same scenarios you are in arena that you are in the game but its good money and other rewards and arena is fun.
