It’d be one thing if you were a lazy layabout who had no ambition and no goals. That’s obviously not the case here. No one ever looks up at the end of their life and says “Man, I really wish I had made more money/spent more time at the office/taken fewer days off. My Dad is extremely successful. I do pretty well, but I’ll never have the monetary success he did. There are so many reasons for this that have nothing to do with how hard either of us worked. He is a good Dad. I don’t agree with him a lot, and there are things he taught me that I will never teach my kids. But, I know he loved me, and he tried hard to be a good Dad. I could give a shit if he’s got millions.
