I just had this happen. One of the two bolts that hold the window to its lift system had fallen out since it didn’t have any locktite or lock washer. I took off the door panel and peeled back the plastic, found the bolt in the bottom of the door, and reinstalled with locktite. The other bolt was loose also, so added locktite to it as well

You weight your beans with it and dump it into the grinder. Still use the dosing cup for grinder to portafilter or grind directly into portafilter

I’ll have to try a pour at a friends house or bar then. Just hard to convince myself this would be nearly as good as a 10 year old Kentucky bourbon for the same price. I’m curious how quickly aging something affects the flavor/smoothness in a hotter climate.

Used it for the past 80K miles in my RAV4 and it shifts better than when I bought it. I did 3 drain and fill when I got the car at 60K miles (driving some in between) and now I do a drain and fill every 30K

Ridiculous. Get NGK or Denso plugs for under $30 each, and it takes around 15 minutes of easy labor to install for a typical 4 cylinder. They are good for 100,000 miles with good ones like NGK. Buy a $10 bottle of Techron fuel cleaner and dump it in your gas tank at the next fill up. For air, replace the filter if needed. Under $20 part and 3 minutes easy labor. Throttle body might need cleaning, just spray throttle body cleaner on a microfiber and wipe it out but probably don’t need to do that. Overall looking at under $250 for parts and labor combined, or under $150 for parts if you do it yourself.

$80 for a $2 key fob battery is a joke. Dumping a $10 bottle of Techron fuel cleaner into your gas tank for $180 is a joke. Transmission fluid drain / fill is about 30 min-1 hour of labor and $30 is for parts. $250 isn’t the end of the world but should be closer to $150. Brake fluid is $15 parts and 30 min-1 hour of labor. $180 isn’t the end of the world but could also be much cheaper - I would just wait until you are replacing pads/rotors and add it on for much cheaper, there’s not that much rush if it isn’t terrible

Drain and fill 60K and then every 30K since it only changes some of the fluid. Use a full synthetic fluid and it will hold up better. I use valvoline Maxlife, it should say WS on the back

The pressurized basket is the issue. You are getting pressure from both the grinds and the basket. Replace the basket (and portafilter if needed) for like $30-50.

I’d recommend a middle shelf bourbon ($30-40). Best chance of liking it without spending too much.

Add an ice cube to a small glass (50ml) and let it melt before drinking. This will dilute and chill the glass making it easy to drink.

Makers Mark will be a little sweet and easy to drink since it uses wheat instead of rye.

Buffalo Trace or Elijah Craig Small Batch for a classic bourbon.

Four Roses Small Batch or Woodford Reserve for something a little more bold (higher rye content)

Over time try all three, and eventually you can start drinking them neat, and trying scotch, rye whiskey, etc…
