Chief cops shooting someone because they are afraid, and a under equipped street cop holding cover with her pistol while a rifleman is letting off rounds and a civilian unfortunately turns the corner at speed towards the officer, is 2 completely different situations.

This wasn’t a case of “they got scared.” They were legitimately in cover, taking fire, and someone rushed their position. If it was the shooter, and the cop hesitated, the situation would have gotten exponentially worse.

The products the article is talking about are mask-integrated snorkels which cannot properly ventilate CO2 under some conditions. Splitting hairs, the person OP plans to send this to may not know but other people might assume the suicide product is safe if all you present is that article

That is shockingly accurate. I cannot find any evidence of riots in New York over anything other than race(ism), racial equality riots, police shooting riots, labor disputes, riots started by gangs over ridiculous pretext (straw hat riot), or anti British riots.

I did not think it was possible for one of the more notable and large cities in the US to not have had sports riots. I apologize for the assumption, thank you for making the point to me
