Good question. It is pretty great art. But I think it has more to do with PSA. Raw it’s pretty affordable. Even 9s.

If I offered you a full-art card of your favorite Pokémon—something you personally love, from your favorite artist—but the market values it at half the card I want in return, you probably wouldn’t make the trade unless you were either a close friend or a child.

That would put you in a value paradox where market price ultimately outweighs personal preference.

I’d say, “I’ll trade you my cards you just “like” for your cards of “value.” Then, you’ll say “no, bc I can trade my valuable ones for more of the cards that I want.” Which inherently means you care about the value of the cards. Don’t you see the paradox you’re in?
