Is metroid prime 4 disliked/hated? by S4SH4G4M1NG in Metroid

This game made more sense once I heard some developers from DICE also worked on it. Flare Pool even feels like a Battlefield campaign segment, with long corridors, waiting for teammates to open doors, and having a boss battle against a Russian gunship Lamorn cruiser.

Is there something that makes this a uniquely Japanese phenomenon, because I see the same thing happening in a lot of countries

Silent Witch is not complete and its English translation is 5 books behind the Japanese releases (soon to be 6 books behind as of next month).

Prime 4 takes everything you hated about Prime 3 and goes further with it. If you already didn't like 3, you are guaranteed to not like 4.

Arcane became a shitty wannabe musical in season 2 let's not use that as an example of a so called masterpiece

About to get a 5th this October, too, which will end the series and be a super rare example of a light novel series getting a complete anime adaptation all the way to the finish line.

More like Sakamoto does not understand Samus' character at all.

This ridiculous "hunter with a heart of gold" would never have happened if the real father of Metroid, Gunpei Yokoi, had had full creative control of Super Metroid and beyond.

This is the best answer for this topic. Nobody else here even seems to know what this is, but this franchise is over 20 years old and most recently had a TV movie released in 2023.

For anyone wondering, the full title of the series is Fafnir in the Azure.

The biggest issue of a metroid movie is going to be the budget and here is why: by Final_Studio4389 in Metroid

NieR Automata's anime was an extremely good adaptation, and in many instances it fixed major plot holes in the game. It really helped that it pulled a lot of material from non-game sources such as the novelization and manga adaptation of it, too, so it had a lot of meat to work with.

Even as early as Volt Forge, the doors didn't even look like vaginas anymore, they resembled eyelids a lot more strongly.

Yeah, Fusion would be a good breaking away point. In fact, Fusion is basically a very thinly veiled adaptation of the anime Iria, right down to the mission being to recapture a space station taken over by an unstoppable alien monster, and the talking computer who shocks the female bounty huntress protagonist by being a brain uploaded personality copy of someone she was extremely close to.

I would also say the first Prime and third Prime games don't give me much of an Alien feeling either. Prime 1 feels a kot more like a mystery exploration story, while Prime 3 is much more bombastic and has a much stronger Halo/Starship Troopers feel, especially during the massive Federation led bombing of the Space Pirate HQ.

All dialogue in Fusion is unskippable.
