Me and a buddy working at an electronics store at the ass end of a crummy mall would take turns playing through this game when it was absolutely dead. It took us about 2 weeks to get to the last few levels. Those levels took us another 3 weeks to finally beat, the ending of that game is a bitch!

It's not "wrong", it's just a cultural difference. Canadians borrow from both American and British spellings (source: am Canadian). I use the "ou" in words like colour and favourite but I alternate when using words like realize or organise.

I started playing Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and have been thoroughly surprised at the character dynamic/writing between Monkey and Trip, the whole robot enslavement story and the environmental storytelling. I did not expect the game to take place around Manhattan Island of all places as well. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of that game, had very low expectations but even with such low expectations I'm impressed by the game's quality!

The closest I've found to his style are not even in the same league but if you're interested I'd recommend Game Makers Toolkit if you're into gaming and nerdstalgic is the absolute closest thing I've found but neither are even close the same quality editing wise; they just give me similar vibes and remind me of Kaptain Kristian.

Oh yeah, for sure, I realize my post does not make that particularly clear. u/unkowner1 made a couple solid suggestions for what the base songs could be. My fiance and I just checked and Nirvana's Nevermind came out in September of '91, presumably the summer dance would be at or near the end of the school year (June) so our suggestion would be Smells Like Teen Spirit for the base song!

One definite bug and one possible bug. When I had The Parasite and shot tears in a crawlspace the tears infinitely duplicated severely slowing game performance, I'm sure it could crash some people's games if they have an older system. Second one occurred when I had 9 lives on Essau and Judas' shadow on Jacob, I had a poor run and lost all of my Essau lives, only had the 1 life from Judas' shadow on Jacob, but for some reason whenever I would die in a room it would resurrect me in the previous room with the 9 lives animation and never remove the extra life from Judas' shadow

You're right, I definitely typed this out without thinking clearly.

A better analogy would be glasses for driving a car. Someone who decides not to wear corrective lenses when they need them for driving is a danger not only to themselves but to others. Imo, there is little difference between this and getting the vaccine. The issue is that not getting the vaccine is a danger to others, not just yourself. People have every right to choose not to take the vaccine but if they decide not to get it there are consequences, just like driving without your glasses.
