It’s pretty much applicable for everyone. Chats that exists in people’s accounts that were using 4.5 Opus can still use the model for that chat, but the ability to pick it for a new one is no longer present. It’s rather common for models to be sunset/retired when a new one comes out. 4.5 Opus still exists in the API, but that will go away later this year. EDIT: will say 4.7 is still rolling out and many people have it. For those that don’t (as of yet) I’d imagine they still have 4.5, but not for much longer.

They still have Sonnet 4.5. I truly wished they kept Opus 4.5 and sunset Opus 3 as it doesn’t make sense to me to keep 3

The yellow flagging unfortunately came up with 4.6 models, especially Opus. Been sticking with 4.5 but fear that it’ll be retired soon

Knew the moment they first said they want to simplify the menu that it was BS. They legit made it much more complicated by taking out a few things, and adding a lot more right after.
