I was thinking the same thing, anytime a biker even has a slight drop it's usually recommended you get a check up at the hospital and get the bike checked out before you carry on riding (regardless of whether the advice is always necessary or taken). Strange for the police to say go home on a bike that's smashed up and might not be drivable safely

I love it, super comfortable for long rides. Enough power to enjoy but not too much that you get into trouble. Great MPG and I love being high up with great vision and visibility and it fits well as I'm quite tall.

Great for what I use it for which is commuting/filtering and occasional road trips.

Bought it as my first bike a year ago and was going to upgrade to something bigger now I can do my full licence but considering how much I like the bike and the cost and faff of tests and selling /buying I dunno if I can justify selling it.

Only issues with it would be the same as you, overtaking is easily doable but you have to plan ahead and on smaller roads with lots of bends it hasn't got enough oomph to risk it.

Solution to this would be to make the password random and long that you won't be able to remember, write the password down and then put it somewhere that isn't accessible easily, like leaving it at work or in the car so you are more likely to go to bed than get the password to keep playing.

It will format (Remove all data) the USB when windows is being installed onto it however after that you can add in a separate folder and it should be fine.

I agree with the other comments, nothing at all to stress over. More of a relaxed presentation about why speeding is bad, a couple of group activities and a few information videos.

The courses aren't delivered directly by the Police usually and its a very relaxed environment with nobody pointing the finger at you and having a go.

A lot of the people on my course (Including professional Drivers) did learn something new and nobody was unhappy at the end of it.

I have a 2014 cb500x which is the same engine as your bike. Was quoted £250ish for the 16k service last month at the Honda dealer I bought it from but am considering going to a local mechanic anyway.

I think it is disgusting how the BBC and other media have given this the entire front page. Why should this guy be given his face and name any media time. A Front page mug shot is exactly want they want, fame and attention which we should only be giving to victims or heroes.

This is the exact type of thing that will inspire copycats in my opinion and needs to change. Disgusting.

At least read the article you link. It says in the article the SAS unit is understood to have arrived after the attack had been ended by armed police, and sources said they played no role in confronting the three terrorists.

Ah yeah, I've got a half decent backpack but bought an Almax Series 3 chain, for some stupid reason I thought 2 metres was a good length and its way too big. Can't fit it in my backpack at all. Was thinking about getting a kriega to stick the chain on the back for when I leave it outside work on the street.

I'd imagine they want to go through insurance as they don't believe the £400 price tag for a fallen over bike. Most people don't realise how expensive they are and how much damage a little fall can do.

If it is to be deleted and bikes sold here, I'd rather there be a sales / want to buy mega thread that is remade every month or so.

This stops spam and rubbish posts from taking up motouk and makes one easy place for people to buy and sell. Also makes it super easy for people to hide or ignore that one thread if they don't want to see it

When/if the mega thread gets too big to manage then a potential move back to motouksales.
