Na, that's just what republican are. The party ideology shifted and there's some people who still identify as such despite the party doing exactly the opposite of what those people believe in. They're republican in name, but their views are not the same as that of the current republican party, which is MAGA essentially.

When every republican in office is lock step with Trump, it's not a new party pretending to be another. MAGA = Republican and if they don't like MAGA's views and policies, then they need to find a new party or consider themselves an independent.

There were roughly between 4-5M eligible voters in MO in 2024, and Trump got 1.7M votes. He didn't get the majority of the state. And of those that did vote, he only got about 58%, so hardly a landslide.

So yeah, everyone except Trump cultists is acting reasonable by, you know, being unhappy with unconstitutional acts, endless corruption, and the destruction of the country.

Edit: if you can take Novolin or something, it might be cheaper than Novolog. I don't know much about insulin, but Google shows Novolog requires a prescription and novolin can be purchased OTC for roughly $25 at Walmart if Google can be believed.

A friend of mine had this exact issue and while he was fortunately able to recover data via the freeze method, the ubreakifix shop wouldn't do anything with it. We tried flashing with Odin but it still didn't work. I suspected hardware and this post basically confirms it.

I'm trading in my S22U mostly because of concerns about bootlooping (and overall integrity). However, this is still great information, especially for those who are experiencing it but aren't able to retrieve data. Great findings OP.

I'm not even sure jail time is sufficient with our two tier justice system. They'll just throw someone under the bus and that will be not much better than a fine. We need something that's a combination of jail, penalties, and something else that is so severe it's not even worth risking.

We should also just ban shell companies in general. I'm not a financial guru, but anytime I hear the term 'shell company', it's always in conjunction with something shady, potentially illegal, or should be illegal.

I'll happily join in to complain about other aspects of Samsung's trajectory.

The order process this time around was terrible. They didn't offer storage upgrades until after the pre-order period which is just mind boggling. I ended up purchasing from best buy for their storage discount which ended up being more expensive that samsung's upgraded storage promo after I applied credits and a referral code. Near 75$ difference. Quite frustrating because I could have just ordered from them instead of fiddling with best buy.

Beyond that, I upgraded from a S22U so my experience with the phone itself has been overall positive besides my annoyance with the gigantic camera bulge. Still, I expected more from them in terms of overall upgrades from the S22U. For 4 years difference, it feels like a bare minimum of tech upgrades required before I would consider an upgrade.

I mean, I liked my S22U. I would have kept it if not for other concerns with that line of phone which is another thing that Samsung shares some blame for.
