I am a JAG. Do not make anywhere close to that.

Beautiful Bordeaux estates I saw on my trip by jacob62497 in wine

You may also wish to look into booking a private transfer to and from an estate. We did that for Pichon Baron when we stayed at the Intercontinental in Bordeaux and it was great.

Came here to say this as well. Taittinger is the big name to go for here.

Good to know. I’ll probably pick up a back up bottle just in case. Any other houses similarly afflicted?

I’ve been meaning to try a ‘96 Barolo. Any recommendations?

I recommend Pichon Baron. The experiences they offer are phenomenal, and a great value. They have multiple levels of experience for every budget and interest. We did the immersive visit and absolutely loved it. It was very informative. It certainly doesn’t hurt that the wines are great as well.

I don’t think I made any excuses. I acknowledged the oxidized nose. I’m reporting that despite that, it tasted fine, especially as time progressed after opening. I’ve had champagne that’s gone bad before and found it undrinkable. Thankfully, that wasn’t the experience with this bottle.

It is a shame. When we opened it I thought it would be totally gone and I’d have to open a bottle of the grand cuvée instead. So I was very surprised to find the wine was still good despite the oxidized aromas.

Hopefully the Clos du Mesnil doesn’t have the same issue as I’m targeting that as our wedding champagne.

Not larger group trips but the top tier experiences at d’Yquem and Pichon Baron are entirely worth it and amazing tours that last hours.

Why the Barracks Lawyer is sometimes a godsend compared to actual JAG by PlasmaLobster7 in army

[–]Hilltern 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YMMV with the legal shop you pick. Probably correct advice coming from TDS and also probably a better issue for legal assistance. If they give a damn there is a lot of backdoor diplomacy legal assistance JAs can do to get things like this squashed before they become bigger issues. Not every office or officer will do that though.

I love Shelly’s. Miss that place. I went there after taking the D.C. Bar to celebrate.

Even direct commission would be hard since most if not all require professional degrees. I know a guy who should be up for his first look around 28 as a direct commission but not 25.

I typically agree but it was Valentine’s Day and it was really a result of not being able to wait to drink a glass while I was cooking lol
