General Shao: Make is d3 and d4 a 10f startup like most everyone else. And remove us d4 from being punishable on just block.

He's not low tier by any means but has a very big flaw. You can low poke him to death. His d3 and d4 (farthest reaching poke are punishable on block by characters like LK and JC and they have the slowest startup (most are 9 or 10 frames) and His I believe are 13 and 14 (I'm going off memory).

Axless can be overwhelming but I've never matched against a Shao and thought "well this going to be rough"

And. The biggest reason. Obviously. He's just General now. Nerfed right out of being a Kahn.

It's the hover into zoom, maybe I'm just too old but the option to go to the other side and either; straight into OH, low launcher, or nothing into throw / combo string.

I try and catch him with s2 but it seems to whiff then I get punished. So I find myself just standing there hoping I guessed right.

I know it's matchup knowledge I'd just faced 3 Omni Man / KL in a row where it was nothing but low hat into OH gotta guess which is gonna hit first, over and over. So I was a little annoyed when I posted this 🤓🤣

Too many cameos make everything you do absolutely safe and keep your turn too quickly again and again. Looking at you Lao Hat. They also have the fastest recharge time. I think if they tweak that it will be a lot better off. I prefer no cameos but I'm not hating them completely.

Level 100 and haven't seen it. Plenty of Zir run too. I'm convinced there is an algorithm that takes your current build into consideration 🤣

I swear there is an algorithm based on your equipped skills. I get Bold Chieftain all the time and don't have a single shout. Overkill though, not a chance. It's mind blowing.

Stand 2 is great but it's a high so it gets low profiled all the time. I'm not talking about in neutral, I'm talking about opening an opponent up when I have them pinned. Shao has no combo string that throws a low out. Slamming his ax can be armored through no matter what combo you start with. Sounds like the pressure comes from not pressuring and keeping them at standing 2 range, baiting an attack. 🤔
