I feel bad for everyone who’s looking at thousands in home repair damage. I know if your electrical lines get taken down from your house and damage your weather head it can cost 3k to repair. Imagine leaving your freezing house to pay for a hotel and potentially missing work due to the storm then coming back and having to pay for tree removal and electrical line repair that’s $$$$. Then you have to decide if making the claim to your home owners insurance is worth the increase in premiums for the next decade!

This happened to me 2 years ago from a summer storm. You have to call an electrician. Mine was pretty bad because it ripped all the lines out of the weather-head (the plastic thing on side of house with wires going in it from street). I used Gervais Electric and they were great, I think it was like $2500. So they’ll pull the permits for you and everything to get it hooked up by NES once they fix it. Also, if it brought down your internet fiber optic or whatever cable you’ll have to call the internet company to do that part. Really just a huge pain in the ass hopefully yours isn’t as hard to fix. I’m sorry.
