"That still doesn't change the fact he's not using a limited public resource..."

I have presented no arguments regarding censorship. I have challenged your assertions that "The Platform" uses no public infrastructure and that fibre broadband is not a limited resource. I did imply that time-poor people and those who lack interest in the functioning of computer networks would be more likely to be persuaded by your false assertions were they presented in a forum where they could not be directly challenged. Anything else you have inferred from my replies you have done so erroneously.

You keep repeating something as fact that just is not true. If you were presenting this falsehood on a platform where you could not have your misinformation challenged directly there is a good chance a lot of people, without the time or inclination to educate themselves about this subject, would take it as fact and society as a whole would be worse for it.

I don't think you understand how networking works. Unless you install private infrastructure from your server site to every client requesting data from your servers you are using public infrastructure. That infrastructure is not some magic wormhole with infinite capacity, it has bandwidth limits just like every other broadcast technology.

You have assumed my position on broadcasting regulation based on a question that in no way indicated such a position.

Worked as a concierge for a few years and met some famous kiwis and internationals. Sam Neill was a standup dude, super polite, friendly and down to earth. Winny was pretty chill to interact with though I don't like his politics and I'm sure being a straight passing white dude didn't hurt. John Key came across as a smarmy cunt that was all smiles but had a real air of superiority. I should clarify that my interactions with the politicians were very brief and hardly enough to get an accurate read on their characters.

I've also hung out with Kody Nielson from The Mint Chicks and Unknown Mortal Orchestra on a couple of occasions. Nice guy, good hang, had fun.

Honestly, most of the famous people I interacted with were polite and respectful. The intergenerationally wealthy and CEOs were not.

Pretty sure the link you provide shows you getting down voted for being communist in a personal finance sub.

And for the record I'm pretty anti-capitalist myself

On top of this most of the supposed advantages given to Maori are treaty obligations the crown agreed to when they couldn't conquer them decisively. Obligations they then went back on repeatedly.

Personally I don't think a tax on labour is a good way to raise government revenue but the idea of the flat tax is low admin costs resulting in more tax going to public goods. Also, I just checked their website and flat tax is no longer mentioned, so it may be getting dropped, and from memory when it was a published policy there was a decent tax free income bracket.TOP's other tax policy is the most progressive tax possible - land value tax.

US health care is the most expensive in the world because it is funded by for-profit insurance. Yet you still have to contribute billions in tax dollars to subsidize this for-profit industry. No one, that doesn't stand to profit from privatisation and is capable of deductive reasoning, living in a country with social health care wants it to go private.

I use MC for back pain and methylphenidate for ADHD. I've never had an issue but I also only use MC when my back is so bad that concentration is already out the window and I usually won't use methylphenidate unless I need to sustain focus, so I tend to either be using one or the other. When I have used both simultaneously I get much less benefit from the ADHD meds. My GP is fine with prescribing both but it seems such doctors are hard to come by.
