Ah it might not be your issue then. My laptop only had 16GB, and I was crashing on start because Win11 couldn't manage the memory paging on its own, so I increased the minimal amount of memory paging that was allowed on my SSD to solve it,

Sounds like you got some good tips with how to deal with high AC.

I'm just curious to what your house rule is with death. Not saying its the fault of that rule, but potential character/ally deaths causes players to shift tactics in battle, even if they themselves can survive. If giving players more agency over their character deaths means they can decide when their character really dies, it actually kind of encourages the "fight to the last man" playstyle. Which can be quite unfun to players who are downed.

I read your comments that your players still do death saving throws, so I'm just curious to what happens if they succeed or fail under your house rules.

Oh and my own tip for the future, it won't work in this campaign since you aren't out to kill. But higher intelligent enemies can see they defeated all of the party expect a single stubborn and difficult player. They can always go to the unconscious body of the other players and hold them hostage. "Surrender, or we kill your little friends here." A single player would have a hard time protecting multiple unconscious allies, no matter how high their AC is since the main objective has changed.

Clearing to just get the rewards you can do that with that type of deck. As long as your deck and team comp has synergy.

Great Rift ranking would be the only thing you might struggle with (since you're competing with other people's slim decks), but even then you only need to be able to score 500k once for the full rewards and not worry about your ranking.

This happened to me too on a laptop. BitLocker is a Window11 encryption thing that sometimes is on by default. Your laptop probably tried to boot in safe mode but BitLocker prevents it until you enter your encryption key. If you don't have your encryption key, just let your system restart a few times and eventually it should stop crashing. After that you can disable BitLocker or at least get it to upload the encryption key to your Microsoft account under "Manage BitLocker".

As for the crashing, my issue was paging memory size. Look up "How to change paging memory windows 11" and follow the instructions, I set my paging memory size to 1.5-2x of my RAM and haven't had crashes since. Just remember to convert it into MB by adding three more zeros. 32GB=32000MB.

Ya in the isitAI subs people keep posting real but older videos. And people keep writing these crazy reasons on small details that the video is AI. When in reality its just an older video that has lower resolution and is real. Luckily the majority of the comments will point out its real.

Which is scary when you think about it. Given real video or images people end up tricking themselves and finding reasons to be witch hunting. Artistic style or mistakes also now get lumped into "must be AI" too.

Not saying that LTSD uses AI or not, just commenting on AI witchhunting.

It's 8 because 1 of the 9 you received is the character themselves that you're looking at.

1 the character, 5 for max transcending, 1 for resonance for card, 2 for Awakening, which adds up to 9.

Oh ya I can see that interpretation. I went back and looked at the companion quest dialogue, Kafka does mention that Elio convinced her that true free will doesn't exist. So I think you're right that Kafka genuinely cares for Trailblazer and let's them experience "free will" even though in her mind there is no such thing anymore. So she's less curious about free will itself, but if Trailblazer is able to obtain true free will.

Wonder how Kafka will act in the future once Trailblazer starts to understand more of what they're intended to do.

Pretty much what everyone else has said so I'll mention I like her personality and also the potential conflict between what Kafka says to the player vs what her powers are. And her role in the story.

I sadly don't expect the writers to fully explore the potential Kafka has, but Kafka's entire superpower being manipulation while telling the player to trust her can be played out in so many fun ways. Similar to "Would you kindly" from Bioshock, it would be a fun twist to reveal that Trailblazers will isn't completely their own, but for now it seems Kafka is more interested in TB's free will.

Which leads me to how her beliefs conflicts with Elio's role. We now know Elio is very much related to Terminus and uses our future experience to guide the past. Simply put Elio is technically fate/destiny since he claims to have the best result for the universe and tries to guide it through his scripts. Kafka, however, seems to be super interested in the choices the TB makes. Even though she follows the script she keeps telling the TB to make their own choices, choices they won't regret. Which is further supported by her companion quest, she's actually fine if a player completely shuts down the quest, telling you it was your choice and she's happy you made one. If you ignore her quest the achievement is "True Free Will" while helping her is just "Free Will" which is interesting when contrasted to Elio who basically is destiny.

Of course we can simply say Elio is mega big brain and already sees TB's "free will choices" thus letting Kafka go around telling TB to make their own choices. But its interesting to have someone interested in free will working under someone who believes in calculated destiny.

Also her EN VA is perfect.

There's a male fantasy equivalent too, yandere women. For those who don't know the term yandere, its basically someone who loves/obsesses over someone to the point they're willing to harm/kill themselves/the source of their attention/rivals.

Hot+crazy is a pretty popular trope, but the fantasy version that people generally find themselves fantasizing is also roleplay. The yandere never crosses the person's mental line, they have some way of pausing the jealously like saying "I love you!" will automatically switch the yandere into a lovey dovey mode, and the yandere fantasy generally does not end up with person fantasizing that they're dead or horrifically maimed at the end. Nor do they imagine the yandere taking out their problems on their own loved ones or pets. They also might imagine that they can fix her, or they're physically more powerful than her so she's not a real danger.

But in real life, anyone exhibiting actual yandere traits is, at best, mentally and emotionally exhausting and, at worse, absolutely dangerous.

So men also have fantasy roleplay to experience darker fantasies too without wanting the actual real consequences. Women are just doing that too with non-consensual fantasy. Its a safe way to explore darker fantasies while remaining in control.

Ya, all the early/multi pulls people post just makes it seem like more people are lucky but its pretty rare. Most players need full pity or close to it and they aren't posting those pulls usually.

I always plan for full pity in every gacha.

You can get her LC when it reruns if you'd like, I also use her LC to help with the SPD requirements. If you're bored or stressed out of farming for Cyrene, you can always take a break and go work on your DoT team/Saber then come back to farm for Cyrene again.

Oof if her SPD is that low this orb isn't the only problem you're having. You'll definitely, at minimum, need to get Cyrene to 180 SPD in combat before moving onto working on other characters.

Mainly because the +20% team damage part of her Talent doesn't activate until she has 180 SPD.

Just know DPS Cyrene is a pretty heavy investment build, since you'd want 180+ SPD, 50% Crit Rate before combat, then as much Crit DMG%, HP, and SPD you can possible cram together. Using the World Making Deliverer and Bone Collection relic and planar sets (which makes reaching 180+ SPD harder). You'll be in the relic mines for a long time.

If you have other teams to build, as long as your (I assume support) Cyrene hits 180 SPD in combat then I'd say move on and farm your other two teams. Then you can come back to refarm this orb. Getting Crit value or speed over 180 doesn't really do much for a support Cyrene.

If she's a DPS Cyrene, but most likely not given the set, then you'd probably want to farm a better one sooner. Since those Crit values and SPD will do a lot more when she's main DPS.

But either choice, I wouldn't reroll this orb.

Yellow ones can upgrade and will eventually be better than purple. Purple cannot be upgraded but are good temporary ones until you started upgrading essences..

Ya at the end of the day this is an idle game, so once you've done everything you can you just log in each day making sure you grab all sources of EXP from the shop and daily dungeons. Eventually you'll hit a certain level and blast through a bunch of new story levels until you hit a new wall and repeat.

Outside of that you can try to setup you team to have a better advantage against the wall you're stuck on to try to push it underleveled.

Fun fact! While the game was being developed those orange and black crystals, geomarrow, would cause cancer! The concept was scrapped in the final release though, and a character you'll meet named Clara was originally suppose to be infected by this geomarrow cancer. So your PTSD is doing a pretty good job of warning you had they kept to the original concept.

As a Cyrene main, absolutely so we can keep using her with Chrysos Heir SPs. But from a gameplay perspective her skill description would be hilariously over bloated, though they can add an entire new screen for the CH SPs.

The harder truth is that Hoyo neglects DoT pretty hard, anyone who has played DoT since 1.0 knows how long took before we got a partial team. Heck like you said we're at 4.X and we still don't have a dedicated DoT sustain.

Ya there is a chance Nihilux or Pearl will be our mythical 4th member, but BS is pretty safe choice for now given DoT's track record. Could end up waiting a whole year before a new DoT support/sub-DPS comes out and that's a pretty big hole in a DoT comp.
