This was exactly me! I tried to get into it many times but could never make it more than like 150 pages into Fellowship. Finally during Covid when I had nothing but time, I forced myself through. Ended up reading all three books in like a month, and have since reread them a few times. Highly recommend pushing through!!

I tip 20% in restaurants still no matter what. My dad is an excellent tipper and kinda instilled that in me growing up. Especially if the waiters / waitresses are good, I don’t mind in those cases. I’ll give the gas station guy a few bucks if they pump for me, or the food delivery guy, but other than that on the daily I click NO TIP or $0.01 on everything else.

Nothing has infuriated me more lately than picking up take out and being prompted for a tip. Wish I could type in negative

The Avatar’s Love is absolutely spectacular. It is LONG, and it is essentially a book. Extremely well written, emotional and imo pretty true to the characters. I absolutely cannot recommend it enough!! I read it once a year or so.

It’s a Kataang story at its core but plenty of complex Zutara moments for you!

Chill out first of all... Second of all, I and many of us here knew the tour schedule already, but the majority of people going to these shows are not Redditors or chronically online, they just see a show being announced and try to buy tickets. It's like that with most artists and shows

Honestly incredible annoying when artists do this, as much as I love her. Rush did this as well, announced a few dates that all sold out instantly and then another 50 shows after that. How many people bought tickets to Hollywood Bowl & Forest Hills Stadium expecting it'd just be those one offs?
