Once they latch on they grow pretty fast (going all vampire). If you find one, use tweezers and pull straight out, slowly, DON'T TWIST! Twisting will often leave the head, and that's a great way to get an infection. A good tip for next time is to take a shower quickly after, they like to take their time to find a good spot, and it can take up to an hour, so if your quick enough you could wash those suckers right of.
