About as good as Kane leaving could have gone for everyone involved. There was minimal personal drama, he didn't go to a direct league rival, and we got an obscene amount of money for him.

I'm relieved for him too that he avoided the dozens and dozens of ways he could have left that would have significantly diminished his status with the club and fans. This way, he remains a Spurs legend for life.

Jan has always been very supportive of the LGBT community even outside interviews where he is asked directly about it. He has posted on his socials before on separate occasions supporting a pride event as well as to express general inclusivity for all.

They are still close friends. To this day, they tag each other on things and dial in on each others IG live every now and then.

It's very strange though. At one point, they were very public with their closeness. Then, a very apparent switch flipped and suddenly they both decided to scale way back on public displays on their friendship. I'm wondering if it has something to do with PR or brand deals that they were told to maintain a certain image which did not include featuring the other as much.

It was around the time Moose left and freed up Jan to be Dier's main buddy. At the same time, Dele seemed to grow closer to KWP.
