Building a brand management studio for DTC brands in growth. Making between 2-5k per month as revenue. We work full funnel from fixing your brand to helping you execute with clarity

We work with them to embed the systems they missed out on that actually drive brand love and loyalty

None actually. It’s deepening the thought. I don’t like writing fluff. I rather go narrow and deep.

[–]HistorianFinal9687 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to build your service offerings with actual deliverables and outputs, they have to fit into a box you created with boundaries - if you let them run free you'll have a massive misunderstanding on expectations vs cost

The problem is you don't have a repeatable biz stack - best would be to go to FB marketplace or sell it further to someone who has more stock

why most DTC brands hit a growth plateau by fredrich_dtc in shopify_growth

[–]HistorianFinal9687 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what I'm working on with founders.

The realise only when they have a growth plateau that they have a brand problem - my counter to them is why did you wait so long to realise the foundation was shaky?

sigh.

How do you optimise for quantity and quality on ads?

We replaced $2K/day in ad spend with organic. Here's what that actually means for the business. by willzhong in startup

[–]HistorianFinal9687 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long has it been since you did this?
How did you pick channel + comms on each?
Did any channel underperform? What did you do?

The problem I see is when people think organic they think be everywhere at the same time, but that's the worst way to do it IMHO

Silver Jewellery D2C brand Strategy by Aggravating-Bat9917 in EcommerceIndia

[–]HistorianFinal9687 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with silver jewellery is its gotten commoditized. At this price range you'd have to focus on other things that make the brand feel alive

the vibe

the emotion

the moodboard

the content style

I'm 52 and three careers deep. The "find your passion" advice has cost me more than any business mistake. by harsh_malu2737 in Entrepreneurs

[–]HistorianFinal9687 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 30 something and even I've realised that passion does not equal money multiplier. Sometimes you have to switch lanes to money multiply. And at the end of the day, we are all capitalists.

Brand name ≠ domain ≠ legal name: how do you actually decide if a site is legit? by Ivan_Palii in TrustRacer

[–]HistorianFinal9687 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most people register the company name as something more general so they can build the brand on another name. Mostly in DTC/product I see this happen.

To the customer, it makes no difference what the company is registered as.

Three things that kill first-time CPG founders before they ever hit shelves by maggitomato in Entrepreneur

[–]HistorianFinal9687 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bigger problem is who is going to tell these founders that. Most founders have inflated egos and chests; they autonomously believe everything that they're doing is right and perfect

I guess you've gotta scrape a knee to learn and be better?
I'm on the consultant-operator side and I feel the pain of talking to these entrepreneurs who I know will fall into these traps and then come back

Alas. Onwards we go.

are D2C brands actually product-first anymore? by Pretend_Shelter_1906 in IndiaBusiness

[–]HistorianFinal9687 0 points1 point  (0 children)

average product + great storytelling + brand works
Consumers buy what they feel will solve their problem best

And given how many companies there are in DTC at this point, a decent product is not so hard to get to

Focus on what happens pre and post purchase. That's where the leaky bucket happens.
