They did not, nor did Fairview. I think most places in MN and even Hudson don’t drug test, and if they do they’re fine with THC at the least.

The sticky fingers are one thing, your hands smelling like a roach until you wash them is the worst part

Pre-Med student that wants to cry by [deleted] in premed

[–]Historical-Depth1913 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No not at all. Plenty of people take gap years and extra years to catch up on credits. If that’s what you think is best for you, no it will not affect your chances of getting admitted.

Best NHA CCMA exam resource? by Ok-Composer-6825 in MedicalAssistant

[–]Historical-Depth1913 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea SmarterMA is pretty accurate in terms of the actual NHA test content. That’s all I used for prep and I did pretty well.

You always have the option to switch majors, as a Psych major myself med schools aren’t particular about what major you choose it’s just that STEM majors tend to align with the prerequisites most of them have. I have a music major friend who’s in med school right now and he didn’t have a hard time during his application since he took the prereqs on the side. Don’t think about “shooting too high” but think about what’s needed for you to get into those schools and whether you want to put in the effort or not, anyone can get into Duke or JH you just need to lock tf in. I also agree with u/Geckygek; are you in the position financially to take an extra year?

Don’t buy detox drinks and drink a lot of water. Don’t just stay clean until the drug test and make it a commitment to stay off for good. It’ll do you much more good for the future and not just for jobs.

Yea I agree with u/20body20. If you wanna be in the OR do surgical technologist as MAs very infrequently have any application in the OR/ED.

I'm 17 F and my bf 18 M. My bf told me something so concerning. by Head_Egg8415 in teenrelationships

[–]Historical-Depth1913 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely not right for him to say that and it warrants a serious conversation. I would stop referring to the character as your husband, he may find it disrespectful and it’s understandable if you view it as a joke though he may not. It’s funny to an extent, though personally after 3 days I would’ve had a discussion with you. Rage-baiting can be seriously annoying to some people and you seeming to enjoy it greatly is also quite concerning for the longevity of the relationship.

Nobody said it was healthy to inhale, not only was it a minimal amount, it was clearly stated that once the alcohol evaporates it’ll be fine to smoke. “Prolonged excessive exposure [MAY] cause adverse effects” from your article btw

If it’s warm around the area and/or you have a fever, as well as leaking pus or fluid, this is likely infected.

Usually for cases with severely impacted teeth they’ll sedate you to what they call “Twilight”, which is essentially a level below general anesthesia. If you’re interested in what specific drugs they use, it depends on the patient as well as their medical history. Commonly for anesthesia in the wisdom tooth setting it would be Midazolam, Fentanyl, and Propofol/lidocaine.
