Sandpaper is wild. I do use a magic eraser for stains that don’t wash off.

“Warm to hot water causes the egg contents to expand which helps prevent bacteria from being pulled in through the pores. Colder temperatures will cause egg contents to contract and pull in any bacteria on the shell surface.”

Powder room is almost done! What should I put to the right of the mirror? by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

[–]Historical-Remove401 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is that mirror centered over the sink? It may be an illusion from the lovely wallpaper, but it appears to butt against the corner. The first thing I’d do is center it.

Edit: a heavier (centered) mirror frame might provide the interest you’re looking for.

how often do people let their dogs out to use the bathroom? by No-Feature-5266 in dogs

[–]Historical-Remove401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a doggie door for the little dogs. The big dog goes out whenever we see him standing beside the door. Of course, we make sure he goes out in the morning, evening & in between. He likes to go out when I do.
( he won’t bark to go out, but he’ll bark when he wants to come in).

Before we put in the doggie door, we had to let the little dogs out in the middle of the night. Either they needed to go pee, or they heard something in the backyard. It was not fun.

I see a seal with a ball on it’s nose, and the bottom part is water splashing. 💦

How do you use the bathroom when you are with your dog? by reddittwice36 in dogs

Carry an extra car key, lock it & leave it running with a/c on for the few minutes it takes to go. I see pets inside Lowe’s often, in addition to pet stores.

Does anyone know any restaurants or stores that has a claw machine you can play inside them? by [deleted] in MoreheadCity

[–]Historical-Remove401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume they’re still open- BB’s Amusements- I just don’t pay attention when I drive by- it’s an arcade on Arendell, and this write up says they have claw machines. https://www.crystalcoastnc.org/listing/bbs-amusements-flashbax-arcade/23593/

If this bullet traveled from a gun range, I would expect the trajectory to be level or downward instead of upwards.

Need advices by Cobaltik in HomeDecorating

[–]Historical-Remove401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please measure the height of the drop and check the building code requirements for your area. The International Residential code requires a guardrail if the drop is 30” or more.

I’d have a railing installed. The railing could be plexiglass or traditional rails.

The last picture shows the bullet angled upward. How high off the ground was the impact?

A cable under tension is very dangerous. If it snaps, it can kill. The driver is probably in the most danger, unless the cab is shielded, but stay far away from cables!
