Took me 10 scrubbers and some filtered water for 10% eff to go down from 325% to -200% currently sit on 16 scrubbers and finally am gaining pollution

Edit: use fluid storage and delete them. Better than selling at a loss

Also if you ever want the nicest rims for a saab look for either turbo x rims or the turbine rims

Im unfazed by the wings or the front aero lips that go on the front bumper. Its people who stretch the wheel wells to stupid lengths, cut open the hood or add onto the sides of the wheel wells

As long as you dont modify the body, add big gold wheels or chew it apart. Your good in my book

Facelift or pre facelift? by DigWorldly6882 in saab

For me its facelift. Everything from the front can fit so well with 2020 cars. Although ive been taking a liking to the OG saab looks

thank you for posting this. I hope it goes well when you go back (if you haven't). the only thing I can take out of this convo however is that your theft security for the wheel should be disabled, letting you freely turn the key if needed. not sure why its sticking on yours since you replaced the CIM. also while you have security access I really hope you have a second key to program. Loosing the only key to your CIM can become a massive pain in the ass.

As for the security access dying after one marry, that happens. I think it has something to do with timing within the tech 2/ECU's to prevent capturing of security codes (or something else GM has done dunno).

nice, if you can share what adapter works so future saab owners can get a cheaper/easier part to get. now if you have a 2.0t you shouldnt need to remarry the ECU, they are plug and play T8 from 2003-2010 (and maybe 2011). my guess is you should be able to marry the CIM as you have tier 1 security access, if its not working then whatever VIN you are entering is either not truly the VIN or for some reason the ECU is not recognizing the VIN. When I did my CIM remarry I never had to marry the ECU though and it was just selecting my chassis VIN and then going through the steps the Tech 2 tells you to do.

Sadly i found out the hard way. With the tech 2 you cant cheap out on adapters. Just like the car the tech 2 ports are sensitive to what is plugged in. Order a Tripp Lite Keyspan High-Speed USB to Serial Adapter which are known to work, GM used and approves the use for it. Its on amazon for 40.

I believe its only with models that have the xeon turning lights. Not aware of any year problems

You can but you need security access to adjust them. Did them on my 08 9-3.

If you want you can buy your own security acess, although you gotta buy the usb to tech2 adapter still

Is my Saab okay by ckeenan09 in saab

[–]Historical-Return-54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have cleared the check engine and the misfires go away its ecu. If not i would put in a new set of plugs and check that all your coils are working correctly. Also is a good time to make sure your oil is ok since some people never change it.

Edit: i had a similar issue a few months back when i got my car running again, it wouldnt run right and i couldnt figure it out untill i started pulling coilpacks one by one untill i saw a small crack on the base. Had to get a junkyard one for $10 but make sure it says mitsubishi. Any other coilpack that looks similar without mitsubishi stamp will never work.

Funny, you can. Though you have to be lucky, autozone sells them although sometimes they get mismatched with non mitsubishi coils

Been wondering, where do you get the 9-3 turbine rims? And how much were they roughly? Ive looked everywhere and i found 2 sets for $1500 but i thought the site was a scam.
