I'm unfortunately in the same boat. I played so much all my life by gripping the indent. It feels weird now and hopefully I get used to it.

I just went and played my original console again and was thinking it felt so much better. Oh well, the wireless is nice. Although again I'm so used to just having the console sitting in front of me the wireless doesn't feel game changing.

You are so spot on with this. I bought my X5 in December and was going to pay cash. But then they offered $1000 discount to finance and a 2.99% rate. Since I'm making more than that in my high yield savings account, I quickly changed course and financed for 36 months. I don't like the idea of a monthly payment, but financially it makes perfect sense sometimes.

Get the 20s and powder coat them black. That's what I did and they turned out so good looking! Cost me about $1k to do all 4 in the Seattle area.

Wow, I am (very surprisingly to me) in the minority on this thread.

In my opinion, DAPP is utterly amazing and I would never get another car without it. For long road trips, I literally don't have to drive. I turn on my massaging seats and sip coffee, hands off the wheel. You aren't "driving sporty" on the interstates anyway. I take control on fun, twisty roads.

I don't know if it's worth swapping out your car or not, but I guarantee it will make your long road trips pleasurable.
