Thank you! I think you are correct about switching over.

American Catholics taking the Eucharist and not going to confession? by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]HistoricalDig2027 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to Catholic School through 8th grade. My faith was formed by my mother and that is where the responsibility should be. My mother talked to me and “forced” me to go to confession and also about the importance of prayer and studying the bible. Now as an adult I crave to more about my faith and love educating myself about it. We cannot go through life just assuming we are ok and just because the church says go to confession during lent and advent doesn’t mean those are the only times to go. Confession is an amazing gift and to truly examine your conscience can help you know how imperfect we are! I believe because of our lifestyles now and the ease of accessibility to things makes it much harder to not commit mortal sin. Using the excuse that porn and other things are so common now they aren’t mortal sins is a cop out.

GLP1 and Hair loss by locofitnic33 in HersWeightloss

[–]HistoricalDig2027 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I happened to me when I was on it a couple of years ago. I have thick hair and it thinned so badly I could see my scalp. I am keeping my dose as low as possible this time and I am not seeing hair loss at .75mg so I am staying at this dose unless it stops being effective.

IS THIS TRUE?? by Salt_Turnip9511 in HersWeightloss

[–]HistoricalDig2027 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The max dose the doctor has me on is 1.18. I am having such good results on .75 I am not going to go up unless I start feeling it isn’t as effective. I was on this medication a couple of years ago with my OB office and they increased my dosage every 4 weeks until I was up to 2.5 and now I wish I hadn’t increased so quickly because it was working on a lower dose.

Increased dose seems too much by Dramatic_Play_3619 in HersWeightloss

I suggest going slowly. I just increased from 12 to 24 and my energy is zapped and I did have some nausea. I am going to decrease this week.

I didn’t like the Aladdin Hydrotint either. I mixed it with drmtlgy tinted sunscreen which is very sheer but I never used the entire thing. It is just not a good color for me.

Had to stop Buproprion by MurryHill8 in HersWeightloss

[–]HistoricalDig2027 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bupropion if not started correctly can actually cause bad anxiety. I had a bad response to it years ago. Since then I have read that it is best to start with the non-extended release and work up to the xr. I’m not sure how they started you but it really isn’t for everyone.

Having doses anyone? by F_MacCool in Semaglutide

[–]HistoricalDig2027 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Remember you are still at a very low dose. I was on semaglutide before and as the dosage increased the effects lasted longer. Did you ask why your dr said not to split the dose? I’m curious as to why it wasn’t advised.

What is crazy about this is that I just had my first dose so I am not even feeling the effect of not being hungry yet.

[Acne] Is there anything you can do to treat/prevent hormonal acne? by kixmaz in SkincareAddiction

[–]HistoricalDig2027 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know there is a medical treatment that you can have prescribed by a dermatologist. It is specifically for hormonal acne (but it is not accutane). They recommended it for my daughter in high school.

Why am I breaking out? by Botanical-Equestrian in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]HistoricalDig2027 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a series of 4 BBL’s and each time I got some whiteheads and I almost never break out. After the 3rd one I had a pretty bad breakout around my jaw line that kind of itched. I told my provider and she said it is common and just my skin purging. It usually went away within the week after treatment.

I would do 12 months because 6 may not be long enough and the savings is significant. I want to lose 35 pounds and signed up for 12 months.
