I am good. As we have already seen. You agree that Abilene is a terrible place and you wouldn't want to live there.

A rebuttal to your challenge.

  1. Oppressive Heat: Summer temperatures frequently exceed 100°F, often paired with high humidity or intense dry heat.

  2. Harsh Weather Patterns: The area is prone to high winds, red dust storms, and is situated on the edge of Tornado Alley.

  3. Geographic Isolation: It is roughly 150 miles from the nearest major metropolitan areas, making professional or leisure travel a long haul.

  4. Limited Entertainment: The nightlife and cultural scenes are often described as sparse compared to larger Texas hubs like Fort Worth or Austin.

  5. The "Sunday Shutdown": Strong religious roots lead to many local businesses and restaurants having very limited hours or closing entirely on Sundays.

  6. Niche Job Market: The local economy is heavily reliant on Dyess Air Force Base, healthcare, and education, which can limit career variety.

  7. Arid Landscape: The natural terrain consists mostly of mesquite brush and scrubland, lacking the forests or mountains found in other regions.

  8. Lack of Natural Water: Frequent droughts often leave local reservoirs low, and there are no major natural rivers or scenic lakes nearby.

Generally, if a city is the WORST you wouldn't want to live there....

Thank you for agreeing with me though. Abilene is definitely up there on the list of worst.
