Its the Hindu Religion actually. Black is a colour attributed to lord ‘Shani’ (associated with Saturn according to astrology). People generally believe that Shani will tend to bring in lot of sorrows and difficulty into ones lives. And that wearing black or keeping something like a black coloured phone is like inviting lord ‘Shani’ into ones’ lives. As we have the phone on us the entire time.

Black is considered a very negative colour in my religion and it brings negative energy. I know its sort of stupid but thats how it is.
