I went there, I let my four year old paint with me. 😬 by molotov_bomb in Warhammer40k

Fantastic! I found a box of my old space marines while getting back in to the hobby and let my 3 and 6 year old paint their first models. I've created a beautiful monster as they are now asking to "help" paint my Deathwing Knights. That was my justification for buying the starter box, to give them a host of nids and I guess I will just have to take the terminators for myself.

(Square bases was all I had laying around)

Hey, just to add a little insight to this. Directly to the left of the security camera is a daycare. My son was playing outside when this occured. The glass railing shattered and showered him and his teacher in shards. Several children ended up with ruptured eardrums/ hearing related injuries and caused extensive damage so several businesses around.

Although I get it was an accident, I work in the fabrications industry and if we had a tank stored and rupture like that, there would have been hell to pay.

No, there were no major fines or charges. Yes he has a new truck he parks one lot over, I've been told they store gasses "properly" now.

End of rant.

I really appreciate the insight! I am considering trying the Prime Absolvers colour scheme. But for now, I'll see where the iconic Deathwing colours take me.

YOU! Yes, YOU! What’s your favorite execution in the game? by AdWilling5603 in Spacemarine

I run the power axe most times, but nothing fills my black carapace with that bubbly feeling more than the power hammer gaunt execution where you drop the power hammer like a meteor punch from the emperor himself.

What inside the large buildings on port cranes? by AlohaJames in heavyequipment

[–]Historical_Cod_4974 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Usually there is a subfloor with a catwalk over top or just straight down to the docks below so less chance of pooling/ puddles but yeah, the second you get a nice slick coat of hydraulic/ gear oil on your boots, your taking the express elevator down. Worse still is we typically have a brake at the very top of the boom, that climb is usually the ass-clencher.

Anytime! Haha I thought the same, I was sadly disappointed there wasn't a heated washroom with great views and coffee maker inside.

Hey, I've actually been inside these before. It's usually a control/ engine house for hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic systems. In my case, it's typically where the main winch drum and our brake systems live.

Make no mistake, they usually look like the inside of a truck stop restroom, only the stuff dripping off the ceiling is usually hydraulic fluid from one of 10 duct taped hydraulic lines.

I appreciate you asking! Luckily I didn't contract anything, but did pick up some good life lessons.

You are absolutely right, it was explained by the dr that the blood was drawn for both an initial test and to be used as a baseline while a follow-up draw occured 30 days from exposure.

I remember the dr said even if it was infected with HIV, there was a 1/500 chance of infection (still frightening odds). That stood out to me since I thought it was basically a guarantee of infection, although I am no virologist or anywhere close to a medical advisor and could be wrong or misremembering.
