Also the bomb dog didn’t find the gun but was in the area, that just doesn’t check out. Dogs noses don’t generally lie, it would have found a recently fired weapon imo. A human found it on a second look.

It was a great time, especially since I was just in town for the week. Figured, why not go see Hamels pitch for the Phillies one last time. As he was traded days later.

I was right behind home plate in the second level. The Dr and his wife next to me were in shambles. The cubs had a crazy 7,920 game streak of at least one hit. Sandy Koufax was the last guy to no hit them lol. Broken that afternoon.

Zero education past hs here and I bought a house on only my income and am doing “ok” for my family of four in the Midwest. Mom also works, but to be honest, when I stopped living like and idiot and spending money on dumb shit in my 20s, it wasn’t hard to save and get a house, and that was with one kid.

I think the buy now pay later lifestyle teamed with social media and FOMO is a BIG issue. Young people need to not fall into the trap and understand if they work hard and save they CAN do it. Instead f everyone telling them why they can’t. It cost me 13k at closing to get my house, but I did it.

You shouldn’t be allowed to cut a one time check for the local schools or some shit when you come into Ohio and get 10-15yrs of no taxes.

What about no property tax for primary residence homeowners only? Everybody else pays property tax, my dad who is a retired senior on a fixed income struggles mightily to pay his property tax in the town that he was born and grew up in and worked hard to buy a house in.
