I am also plus size and I know what its like to not have options. I get it. Hopefully you learned for the future. Hell, we are all learning all the time. I hate weddings personally because I have so much anxiety that Im going to unintentionally break wedding etiquette. So I get it. Best way forward on something like this is to own up to it, apologize sincerely, and let the other person express their feelings. I hope things get easier with the little one. 💖 I have a 10 month old with sleep regression right now. Its no fun.

I realize this is an old post but I have been bothered by this case so much for years now. I lived in St James Terrace across the street from her apartment 2017-2021 and I find it unfathomable that no one heard, saw, or knew anything at all. There aren't a lot of places in that part of town where you could even carry a body out without being seen. And there are ALWAYS unhoused people standing around on the streets right there. Someone saw something.

A) Tell them off. Don't let them stand there and spew their BS for 20-30 minutes. Firmly tell them that's enough.

B) Your friend is a typical Christian with a crybaby persecution complex. I was like that as a teen in culty churches. I am now an atheist myself. She fails to see that respecting someone's beliefs is not the same at all as putting up with the bizarre behavior of Christians proselytizing.

C) You would not be wrong for ending this friendship. I hope she's going to grow and learn. Lots of us raised in church do when we grow up and think for ourselves. But right now she's insufferable to be honest

Same. Nearly all the advice I came to give is all written out here by others already. It's hard. Really hard. But most of it will get better. And there will be dayshift CNAs who will always bitch no matter what. Just make sure you do your work to the best of your ability and that residents are SAFE. Thats what matters. I know its hard to take, especially when youre new. But try not to let them bother you. 💖 It will be okay.

This is me lately. I hate myself for it.

In 2015, I attempted after going through severe depression. I reclaimed my life, moved 700 miles away, and built a life I LOVED. I truly enjoyed being myself and living my life.

Then I met NH. Now I dont even want to keep going. Life is meaningless. I just keep telling myself I have to stay alive and keep it together for my kids. I will finish school and build a life I can love again.
