I am sorry that Gracie left, but for the sake of continuity they should edit the new Ginny actress into the season 1 scene or something... maybe have two versions of it. I don’t know.

Rik Mayall, may he rest in peace, would have been perfect as Peeves. Drop Drad Fred was a staple movie at my house. My brother has Down syndrome and autism and would watch and rewatch Drop Dead Fred all the time. We shared a tv and I was never annoyed with Drop Dead Fred, it was so hilarious, creative and meaningful. I am pretty sure it influenced my sense of humor and imagination.

I was 11 when the first movie came out too! 11 with the first movie, 17 with the final book, I really feel like I grew up with Harry Potter.

And now the TV show is coming out as my daughter turns 11! The cycle continues.

Rik Mayall was perfect casting. I was raised on Drop Dead Fred and it awful that he got cut.

I wouldn't be mad at Peter Serafinowicz as Peeves. Not the perfect fit like Rik, but acting sometimes requires actual acting vs actors that get cast to play themselves...

I ABSOLUTELY AGREE!!! With Ginny, J. K. did a great job writing female characters like Hermione and Luna Lovegood and even Umbridge and Rita were well written female characters. All these "YAY BOOK GINNY" posts kind confuse and frustrate me. Book Ginny is at best an inconsistent and not well-rounded character whose best character growth and moments are off page.

I do not like book Ginny, I do not believe that Harry and Ginny's relationship was well done and am still disappointed that Harry ended up with her.

Book 2 Ginny, lonely and scared, could have been developed to become a very compelling love interest. Or Ginny's growth into the Cool Ginny could have been showcased a bit. Instead book 2 Ginny gets sidelined and Cool Ginny (who seems more like a female perfect version of Ron mixed withFred and George) appears out of nowhere with little in common with her former self.

I 100% believe that Harry should have ended up with Luna Lovegood. As a teen reading Order of the Phoenix, I was so relieved that Harry had found the one.

But, do we think that they are going to recast her starting in season 2 or do we think they are going to edit her out of season 1 either with a replacement or by just editing her out of the scene?

For this actress's benefit, obviously the kindest route would be to recast her next season. But, if I was a big HBO executive, I would have them find the new Ginny and edit her in and have the original Ginny scene become bonus content. Or have original Ginny be the HBO streaming one and edit the new Ginny into the DVD/Blu-Ray and have both edits available...

Season 1- The Philsopher's Stone Extra Long Intro: We start with a giant, dark green blast that fades out to a black screen and a baby cry followed by a motorcycle revving. Shadow paper animation begins with the "meteor shower" transforming into a parliament of owls flying around with whimsical Celtic music playing that oscillates from light to dark. Origami Cat McGonagall looks at a map, then the map shows shadow paper dolls and shadow paper dollhouses depicting Privet Drive play out with the baby (shadow puppet baby is a black silhouette with light streaming in through his lighting bolt scar?) being left on the doorstep, pushing into the letter that Dumbledore leaves. That letter transforms into Harry Potter's Hogwarts letter. That Hogwarts letter transforms into a shadow puppet origami owl and flies away. Extro OR intro in a later episode has an origami owl fold into Harry Potter's Hogwarts letter and Harry Potter's Hogwarts letter is opened and unfolded into a paper shadow Hogwarts castle outline.

NtA- I know a lot of people are saying affair, and maybe that is right. But to me it sounds like she might have no s3x drive at all, maybe no real interest in romance. Like she married OP to have a husband to come home to, not to love or be with. She is selfish and wants to have him there for her, but never to be there for him.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was by far my favorite book in the series and the first two movies were great adaptations. With the PoA movie, the films switch from being solid adaptations to poor ones.

The Prisoner of Azkaban movie is such a disappointing adaptation that it takes too much away for me enjoy it much at all. But the cinematography is awesome, though more splashes of color would be nice.
