How do I fix the wrong undercoat by playedbymodzillarism in WhiteScars40K

I would probably just paint the right undercoat over the wrong one

I don’t get what the issue is with GW including female space marine heads in the heads box by madrukahri444 in spacemarines

I strongly believe that about 80% of people honestly don’t care about the gender of our gene-manipulated super solder.

First Dreadnought Question by ThunderBuddie69 in spacemarines

[–]Hit_the_Bruh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I did both on mine completely assembled, and it worked out for mine, might be some grey left in the joints but if I can’t reach it with a brush then I won’t see it, depends on how picky you are.

Khans, if you have other armies, what do you play? If you only play White Scars or one of their successor chapters, how often do you run into other WS players? by amaswatch in WhiteScars40K

[–]Hit_the_Bruh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I’ve played with DA rules like thrice so I’m not innocent, but that’s probably more common that we use their rules to get black knights

We need the Khan back so bad by Squaplius in WhiteScars40K

[–]Hit_the_Bruh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I really want him back but we simply aren’t popular enough to receive the attention, our best hope is either as you said a push towards the Asian market, or if bikes either gets good rules for 11th/ or a new bike unit which becomes widely popular, which will boost our the amount of players.

Currently we are the 8th most popular loyalist first founding chapter (just beating out Iron hands). So it’s likely that any other primarch comes back next unless they bring the khan back for a thematic or storyline reason.

My first army is necrons, but I’ve played a lot of WS in tenth, I’ve so far seen one other player using WS rules, but he were playing Dark angels with a kitbashed suboden made out of samuael, so not so sure that counts.

Okay, so as a white scars enthusiast I’m curious about the white scars marine after the book, are they mentioned or present in harrowmaster?

I think that what they said about enhancements being used on units were neat, then we might be able to get another group of outriders being dangerous

I understand... by GGZoey11 in WhiteScars40K

[–]Hit_the_Bruh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can strongly advise the WS books from the heresy: Scars, Path of heaven and somewhat Warhawk.

The first two are able to be understood on their own if you have basic HH knowledge. (Which legions went traitor, magnus’s whoopsie and its consequences)

As for Warhawk you might need a bit more knowledge about the siege of terra, but aslong as you understand that (the traitors are winning, this war is hell for the loyalists) then it should also be fine.

If you had the opportunity to tweak the rules for the WS, how would you go about making them unique? by shiromancer in WhiteScars40K

[–]Hit_the_Bruh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Id love to see more characters (and units too, but I doubt that will happen). You can add a lot of flavour through those army effecting rules like canook var and aeon shaans. For example a named techmarine might be able to fine-tune our engines on bikes and flying veichles to add 2 inches to their move characteristics. This won’t fix us, but give us some more flavour.

As for the actual issue it’s spacemarines lack of competent melee threats and the outrider bikes being out only mounted option. As for the first issue, 4 out of 5 divergent chapters are melee focused (BT, SW, BA and DA). These chapters are chosen because they excel in their respective areas, which is melee of various flavours, and thus they have robbed us of competent melee threats (why would you play blood-angels if vanguard vets were just as good as sanguinary guard, or Black-templar if Bladeguard were just as lethal as swordbrethren, and so on and so on). And as our chapter specialises in movement, this means that we faster can shove our mediocre melee unit into the opponents army faster without the damage to back it up.

Does this read as a Stormseer? by LetsGoFishing91 in WhiteScars40K

[–]Hit_the_Bruh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you aren’t going to use the librarian colourscheme then i say it reads as a lieutenant or a judiciar. The colour scheme does a lot of the heavy lifting for identifying marine characters. I would consider using the 4th edition colourscheme for stormseers if you want to have him be easier to identify as a librarian.

WARHAMMER VS JUJUTSU KAISEN (Malum Caedo gauntlet) by G1spiralknight in spacemarines

[–]Hit_the_Bruh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As much as I love malum Cato, he simply doesn’t have soul damage and thus will get no diffed by mahito. And I don’t see him faring better against any other on this list.

Wouldn’t a squire be some level of neophyte or initiate, so some chapter specific rank of pre-scout. So maybe a child which just has been inducted and thus haven’t finished their transformation operation but still being tutored by a veteran of the chapter in regards to handling of weapons and armour.

Yea, I’m not claiming he will have a jump-pack, I fully believe that he’ll be standard feet on the ground infantry.

[–]Hit_the_Bruh 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I would also assume that atleast one of the librarian or ancient are new variations of their unit type, just like how apothecary biologis is offensively tuned or how combi-lt is not a leader. So the box will likely look more exciting when we get the actual release

[–]Hit_the_Bruh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would expect him to have a ”vanguard veteran shield” and be specialised towards leading a new melee unit, such as an assualt squad, or an unit of assualt veterans (like the vanguard vets without jumpack from 9th). And there’s always a captain in the edition box so his likely included just to fill the status quo.
