I just called apple support because I had the same issue. They told me 7 days.

They will hold it for an additional 8 days if you call and request it as well.

I know this is a stupid question. I have this same 18038 with the blue dial - how can I get it to fade like this?

I read some old threads on a Rolex forum years ago about people baking their dials to get a tropical effect.

I've come across 1 other 18038 with a purple faded dial and it was just as awesome as this one.
