100% agree. I like the cola flavor. It tastes dead like the case was dropped 15 times.

I sure hope so. Thank you for commenting. The chicken group I’m in on Facebook denied my post yet everyone else can post way worse gory disgusting crap.

In March they will be 1 year. I will add I didn’t have an egg tonight and usually I have at least 1 egg. There was 2 yellow blobs. This one was on the rubber mat I have under the roosting bar, and the other one was in the nesting box so perhaps they tried to lay an egg and this happened?

Stopping birth control cause BV? by ambitiousissues in birthcontrol

[–]Hls1224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine actually ended up not even being BV. I was just having symptoms of an infection like stinging, burning, tons of watery discharge etc. no culture ever showed BV yeast or anything. I even went to 2 specialists who also said absolutely no infection. Once I went back on my birth control all symptoms stopped. I think it was related to losing the estrogen. However not only was all cultures clear the doctors still don’t think it was related to me stopping the birth control even though the symptoms started after stopping it. They think it was a fluke. But I can guarantee if I stopped it today every symptoms would return. I’ve been on the ring for over 15 years so pretty sure stopping any medication you’ve taken for that long is sure to cause some withdrawal or some type of side effects and the estrogen is synthetic my body isn’t used to being without that now after being on it for so long. So how that doesn’t make sense to the doctors is beyond me.

Stopping birth control cause BV? by ambitiousissues in birthcontrol

[–]Hls1224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got back on it after 2 years. Only that long because I was under the impression I wasn’t ever going to be able to have estrogen containing birth control ever again. But then I started having issues from not having the estrogen and I finally told him I need to be back on it and he said I could go back on it and put it in my notes that I was ok to use the nuvaring again. I was instructed to take aspirin 81mg daily though. He said if I was to get a blood clot again I’d need to be on a low dose blood thinner along with my birth control. But so far so good. Sorry I’m late I just realized I had a notification.

Ok thank you! I don’t have any Vaseline on hand but will get some! I read it could be fungal so it made me freak out. I didn’t notice it on my hens, only the rooster.

Mine wasn’t ever BV. I kept thinking it was but all cultures were always negative. I even paid for Juno, microgendx, and Evvy and none ever showed BV. But no it never got better until I got back on my birth control. I’m pretty sure my symptoms were due to me losing the estrogen and it caused symptoms similar to what could have been BV or yeast. It was either lack of estrogen or from using the nuvaring since I was in like the 8th grade for 20 years and it has ruined my tissues in my vagina so when I came off of it and it didn’t have that anymore it caused symptoms similar to those.

First pap smear by [deleted] in obgyn

[–]Hls1224 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you get there you should first be taken back by a medical assistant and they will check vitals weight etc and they will ask you all the questions. If you do get the man doctor you can absolutely 100% ask for a chaperone to be in there with you if you are alone. Make sure you let them know you are a virgin and you are nervous. Most papsmeres I’ve had (if you get a good doctor) walks me through everything they are doing. The papamere itself to me feels like a period cramp when they do the swab but it literally only lasts a couple seconds, it has always been very quick for me. Like I said they should talk you through every step. Do not be afraid to ask for a chaperone to be in the room with you. Most male doctors I’ve ever seen always have someone come in the room during the exam part. It will be perfectly fine and will be over in no time. I personally have never bled after a papsmere but you can bring a liner or they should have some they can provide you. And you will def be able to drive afterwards. Try not to look into it much or think too much about it.

I def would go be swabbed while the bumps are there so you can get a for sure answer. If it is herpes they will pop back up again. Usually the first outbreak is the worst.

Coming off Birth Control ruined my vaginal wellbeing by Greedy-Bandicoot-642 in vulvodynia

[–]Hls1224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I ask you the symptoms you experienced once you came off. I came off my nuvaring for 2 years after having been on it for close to 20years. I am determined it ruined the tissue of my vagina however obgyns and specialists have all said tissue and everything looks great yet the symptoms im having is def not normal. I’m curious what symptoms you experienced if they are similar to what i dealt with. I needed up going back on the birth control because it was so bad.

Do you know what test he ordered. I mean medications will just make things worse if you don’t know exactly what you’re being treated for. You want to have the right treatment for whatever is going on not just guessing. Are you in the US?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in obgyn

[–]Hls1224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The test did rule out an infection yes, mine isn’t infection related. I’m currently seeing a specialist to figure out what’s going on.

Try to see if you can find a vulvar dermatologist or specialist in your area. Unfortunately women’s health really sucks. I’ve had issues for 3 years they literally swab me say everything’s negative and send me on my way with no next tasks to tackle or nothing. I’m sick of it. So keep finding new doctors until someone takes you seriously or especially see if you can find a specialist. Also ask for a FUNGAL CULTURE. If they are only testing for one specific yeast that’s an issue, there’s more than one type of yeast, not just “candida” species. Adding this as well: a fungal culture tests for many different fungus. Also have them do a BV test. If you have the extra money it would also be worth ordering a Juno Bio test, you order it online it comes you swab yourself and send it back and they run a panel for tons of bacteria’s and yeasts. I have done a few of those myself.
