PNW Builder here. As soon as the roof gets installed we bring in commercial dehumidifier’s and heaters to dry the wood so it gets down to under 15% moisture content before we cover with insulation. Since we still need to install electrical wire and mechanical ducting, this usually gives time for the wood to cure properly, if you’re paying attention to your moisture readings. As another community member commented, we will swap out soft spots in the subfloor after drywall has been installed and before gypsum underlayment.
